Tomas Cusine "Llebre" Red

From Costers del Segre, an inland wine region northwest of Barcelona, this bottling is 100% Tempranillo (known as Ull de Llebre in Catalan, meaning 'Eye of the Hare'). Fermented with indigenous yeasts, the wine goes through a brief aging regimen in French oak to preserve the purity of fruit. A bit lighter on its feet than its cousins in Rioja, expect red fruits with a touch of baking spice and vanilla.
