Ricardo Tiberio’s daughter, Christiana, has been at the helm of winemaking at their family winery, Tiberio, since 2011. A chemistry graduate and sommelier, she has perfected her winemaking prowess, studying under the likes of Jacques Selosse, Nicolas Joly, and Egon Muller. Her Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is made traditionally, utilizing indigenous Montepulciano d’Abruzzo vines grown in a cooler vineyard site. The grapes are harvested before fully ripening, locking in freshness, a hallmark of Cersuolo. Bright pink in the glass, it gushes with pomegranate and cherry notes, structured by a floral and herbaceous backbone.
