After training in the Sine Qua Non cellar for eight years, Maggie Harrison got the chance to produce her own label from a small portion of the prestigious White Hawk Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. Harrison’s wines are fermented with native yeasts and are unfined and unfiltered which further adds to the finesse and elegance. This unique Syrah is filled with notes of dark berries, with some savory elements showing up on the midpalate and finish. Hints of espresso, cracked peppercorn and tar dance across the palate, resulting in a sultry expression of the grape.
