This wine gets its name from a forest called ‘Passamante,’ located next to the vineyard where the Negroamaro grapes are grown. History has it that forbidden lovers would pass by the forest to meet each other, therefore; giving it its name—'Pass’ (to pass) and ‘Amante’ (lover). Seductive with intense aromas, it has ripe, fleshy red fruit and spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg.
