Las Californias is laying the foundation for a new way of thinking about creating craft gins. Their offerings are homages to a pre-border, pre-human-interaction period of the Las Californias region that covers the present-day terrain stretching from Northern California to the end of the Baja Peninsula in Mexico. The botanicals found in this gin are an array of indigenous plants, woody herbs, and even ocean algae that combine to create one of the most complex and delicious gins we’ve tasted.
