Pieve Santa Restituta is Gaja’s estate in Montalcino, purchased in 1994. It is the family’s first expansion outside the Barbaresco and Barolo areas since its establishment in 1859. The 2019 Gaja Brunello is a lively and vivacious vintage. Fresh red cherries, raspberries, and herbal notes accompany tea, coffee bean, and hints of eucalyptus throughout the palate. The tannins are velvety and already beautifully integrated, ready to drink now or hold for another five to seven years
