Named after François’s grandmother Marie, this cuvée blends Chardonnay with Jura’s traditional Savagnin. The Savagnin gets a brief three-month aging sous-voile (letting the wine mature under a thin veil of yeast like in Sherry production) while the Chardonnay is made in a non-oxidative style. The grapes are blended and aged together in stainless steel, resulting in a wine that is delicate and floral with a wild, savory streak. A wine to open and enjoy with friends, alongside a block of aged Comté.
