Eugenio Bocchino has been producing these wines since 1995, when he and Cinzia Pelazza began working Cinzia’s grandfather’s vineyards. This family-run, biodynamic winery farms five hectares divided among seven parcels throughout La Morra, Verduno, Alba, and Roddi. Their “Tom” Barbera d’Alba is made in the traditional old-world style. It features a fresh palate of red fruits, followed by earthy, licorice notes and a hint of spice.
