The Loewen estate's roots date back to 1803. Their old vines produce very, very low yields, but the fabulous quality is enough to stop anyone in their tracks. Their Reisling is medium-bodied and fresh with bright acidity, slatey minerality, and long finish. There are notes of deep stone fruit and wild herb aromas with a fascinating hint of smokiness from the lees. The palate is concentrated, full of white peach and pineapple, light florals, and herbs. Pair with schnitzel or other German delights!
