Camp is a project of The Hobo Wine company, founded in 2002 by Kenny Likitprakong, a California native who works with myriad sustainable, organic, and biodynamic vineyard owners around the state to create fresh, accessibly priced wines. Camp focuses on Kenny’s North Coast relationships, and this Zinfandel comes predominantly from the Lolonis Vineyard in Redwood Valley. A younger, leaner take on this classic California grape, notes of red plum and cranberry mingle with a touch of oak and licorice for a perfect pairing with balsamic-glazed mushrooms or a hearty barbeque.
