G.B. Burlotto is a family winery located in Verduno, a municipality of Barolo. In 1968, Giovan’s great-granddaughter, Marina, took on the estate at the age of 17 and today runs the business with her husband, Giuseppe Allesandria, and their children Fabio and Cristina. Their Verduno Pelaverga is an ode to tradition and history. It is made with 100% Pelaverga Piccolo grapes that are harvested by hand and aged in stainless steel tanks. This wine is a bold expression of the DOC that is well structured with subtle tannins. It exhibits notes of cherries and blueberries with hints of pepper and herbs. A perfect wine for chilly fall evenings.
