Perrini Salento Rosso

Availability: In stock

The Perrini family have been growing grapes in the Salento Peninsula of Puglia for generations, originally selling to négociants before building a cellar themselves and converting to organic viticulture in the early 1990s. This is a blend of 80% Negroamaro and 20% Primitivo from vines aged around 25 years old, filtered but unfined, aged in stainless steel tanks. Full bodied and softly textured, this wine offers notes of dark red fruit, plum, and liquorice, with a subtle black pepper finish. Pair this bold bottle with something just as hearty, like teriyaki grilled meat or a pulled pork sandwich.
