While the Monemvasia Winery is a relative newcomer on the Greek wine scene having just started in 1997, the wife and husband team of Elli and George Tsimpidis borrow their inspiration from eras long past, opting to revitalize older indigenous Greek varietals with an inspired contemporary take. Their La Lu Di Moschofilero is a fresh and aromatic white made from the classic Greek varietal, Moschofilero. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to everything from spanakopita to lemon & herb fish or chicken dishes.
