Established in 1990, Mount Carmel Vineyard, which is exclusive to Mail Road Winery, produces some of the greatest fruit in the Santa Rita Hills of Santa Barbara County. The complexity, depth, and acidic structure of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown here have earned these wines a cult status in the hands of winemaker Matt Dees. This bottle shows exceptional delicacy, with an intensely floral nose of wild strawberries and violets leading into a palate of candied orange and black raspberry, with wonderfully balanced acidity.
