Lignier-Michelot Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvee Bertin

Located in Morey-St-Denis, Domaine Lignier-Michelot is a fourth-generation operation of the Lignier family. Organically farmed with biodynamic principles (timing the harvest and winemaking to lunar cycles), the grapes for all the Domaine’s wines are treated with a soft touch. Most bottlings see a high proportion of whole cluster fermentation and minimal new oak usage. The Gevrey-Chambertin ‘Cuvee Bertin,’ named for the current owner’s son, is loaded with dark fruits and lots of texture. Definitely worth decanting!
