The style of Lignier-Michelot is opulent, with sappy fruit and excellent structure that allows the wine to age gracefully in the cellar. The Domaine has been producing wines since the early twentieth century, but, like their neighbors, they were selling most of what they produced to negociants. Today, Virgile Lignier is at the helm of winemaking and is the fourth generation to run the property. Made from four parcels of old vines located in Chambolle Musigny, this Bourgogne Pinot Noir features earthy and dark berries aromas. Round and juicy, it is an outstanding example of the Domaine style.
