100% Barbera from Monforte d’Alba, where the Fenocchio family has been making wine since 1894. This wine comes from grapes grown in two different parcels within the Bussia Cru, the famed Barolo district 300 meters above sea level and known to produce wines with a distinctive structure and body. With a full mouthfeel and notes of black fruit, this bottle is classic Piedmont that would pair perfectly with tagliatelle in a gamey meat sauce.
