Ferrando Carema Etichetta Nera

Ferrando and the winemaking region Carema are almost synonymous. Small wonder considering that only 16 hectares of vineyards exist in the tiny appellation. Made from 100% Nebbiolo, do not expect the fuller-bodied expression of the grape in Barolo or Barbaresco. This is alpine wine, with more subtle tannins and a lighter mouthfeel (in comparison). The Etichetta Nera, or 'black label', is produced in only the best vintages and showcases aromas of spice, violets, and red berries. Pair with wild mushrooms or short rib.
