Located in between Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the village of Vacqueyras received AOC status in 1990. Domaine le Couroulu, founded in 1928, takes its name from the Curlew bird, which is the signature emblem on the domain's label. A blend of 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre, this is a powerful red with spicy, dark fruit nuances. Serve this one with New Year’s Eve dinner.
