Dom. Jean-Paul Dubost Beaujolais-Lantignié Rouge

After tasting over 100 wines, at one of the biggest trade tastings of the year, this one stood out!
Fourth generation vigneron, Jean-Paul Dubost, took over his family’s holdings in Beaujolais in the mid-1990’s and slowly converted his 26-hectares to organic viticulture.
Made from 100% Gamay that undergoes semi-carbonic maceration, Jean-Paul's Lantagnié (touted as the soon-to-be the 11th cru) has generous aromatics. Juicy, with lush red fruit, a snappy mineral core, and mouth-watering acidity, this drinks more like a serious cru Beaujolais, than it does a village-level wine.
Quaffable enough to be your Tuesday night go-to, delicious enough to be your Saturday night sip!
