Dom. Faillenc Saint-Marie Corbieres

Like many producers in the region, the winemaking history of Domaine Faillenc Saint-Marie goes back centuries, in their case to the reign of Sun King Louis XIV. The current proprietor, Dominique Gibert, focuses on a distinctly modern style of winemaking, with his vineyards certified organic and much of the production done solely in tank to preserve the aromas and flavors inherent to the grapes. This field blend is a varying combination of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault, fermented together before aging. Dark fruits, garrigue, and a distinctly “wild” character make this an unforgettable experience.
