Why drink this wine from one of the most illustrious Sicilian producers? COS it’s amazing! Pun aside, at BRIX we have long worshipped these distinctive bottlings from the estate which dates to the 18^th century. It is a blend of Nero d’Avola and Frappato, two grapes that contradict each other in the best ways. The dark and brooding nature of the Nero is mellowed by the lighter and more subtle Frappato, leading to a wine that beguiles your mind (and nose and mouth) with small-berry aromas, cassis, wild raspberry, and even dried blueberry. Simply delicious!
