Chateau Peymouton is part of the Laroque estate, one of the largest houses in the Saint-Emilion appellation of Bordeaux’s right bank. The soils here are a thin layer of red clay over limestone, which lend a dense, structured elegance to the wine. 70 % Merlot, 23% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, this is a fruit-forward blend that offers notes of cassis, cherry, and liquorice.
