The only wine to be awarded  “Wine of the Year” by Wine Spectator twice (in 1984 and 1990), from the famed Caymus Vineyards in Napa Valley, California. Founded in 1972 by the Wagner family, Caymus has a signature style that is low in acid, high in ABV, and dark in color. Their Special Selection is taken from the best barrels and not produced every year. Expect fine, velvety tannins and notes of leather, caramel, and blackberry jam.
