Vietti Barolo Ravera
For many Italian wine lovers, there is only Piedmont. And for many of those Piedmont lovers, there is only Vietti, the legendary estate, whose vineyards include some of the most highly prized terroirs in all of Barolo. From Nebbiolo grown in a roughly three-hectare vineyard site, the wine spends roughly thirty months in oak casks before developing an intense garnet color with a very robust structure. As it opens, the wine reveals touches of spice, menthol, and ripe cherry.
