If there ever was a BRIX Hall of Fame, the G.D. Vajra Albe Barolo would get a wing named in its honor. A perennial staff darling, this beautiful, organically grown Nebbiolo checks all the boxes with classic hallmark notes of roses, cherries, and tar. Fresh and deeply enjoyable in its youth while certainly still age worthy. A truly special wine and one well worth trying alongside a classic Bolognese, risotto with black truffles, or a steak right off the grill.
