Sohm & Kracher Lion Gruner Veltliner

Aldo Sohm and Gerhard Kracher both fell in love with wine at the age of 19 and shared a deep admiration for their native Grüner Veltliner. In late 2004, they decided to put their heads together and craft their own wines from the diverse soils of Weinviertel. A fresh and crisp white, their Lion Grüner grows from 25-year-old vines on a six-hectare vineyard just north of Vienna. With lovely notes of honey and elderflower, this saline and white pepper forward white, carries versatility and pairs well with even the most obscure of dishes.
