The September BRIX Mix—Negroni Sbagliato
Give your Negroni something to be bubbly about. With a nod to Negroni Week, which happens every September, the Negroni Sbagliato subs gin for a refreshing splash of Prosecco. Sbagliato (which means “mistaken” or “incorrect”) was invented in the 1970’s when a Milanese bar owner mistook a bottle of Prosecco for gin while making a Negroni at Bar Basso. The result is a spritzy take on the Negroni with balanced flavors of bitterness, sweetness, and fizz. Lucky for us, some mistakes are worth making twice.
The BRIX Mix Negroni Sbagliato comes with a 750 ml bottle of Forthave Spirits Apertivo RED, a 375 ml bottle of Carpano Antica Formula Sweet Vermouth, a 750 ml bottle of Bisol Prosecco Brut , one orange, and the BRIX Negroni Sbagliato recipe.
