Michael Savage founded Savage Grace in 2011 (Grace being his wife’s name) with the sim to make expressive but approachable Old World-style wines in the Pacific Northwest. The Côt Dépendant is a fresh and lighter style of Malbec reminiscent of wines from the Loire Valley, where the grape is known as Côt. Cranberry aromas with a pleasant zing of acidity would make this an ideal red for the Thanksgiving table.
