Founded in 1729 by Nicholas Ruinart, nephew to Benedictine Monk Dom Thierry Ruinart, Maison Ruinart is the first ever Champagne house and the quintessential definition of quality sparkling wine. Their flagship NV Blanc de Blancs is 100% Chardonnay. A golden straw in color with a gorgeous nose of shortbread, citrus, and green apple, its palate is smooth and buttery with a touch of citrus cascading to a lovely biscuit finish. Its unique bottle shape is reminiscent of the Champagnes of the 16th Century.
