For fifteen years, Arianna Occhipinti has been thoughtfully crafting wines from Sicily’s indigenous grapes. Through inspiration and observation she has conceptualized the execution of three different single vineyard expressions of Frappato — with only 2700 bottles of each wine produced.
FL, Fossa di Lupo. The contrada that has been the focus of Arianna’s work since her winery’s inception. A rainbow of sand shades mixed in with limestone rocks, produces a fruit forward, but austere expression that is balanced with great acidity.
