This 100% Carricante, is fresh and youthful with an abundance of ripe yellow stone fruits, maritime salt, and classic stony minerality. With it’s generous texture and hint of hazelnut, it may even trick you into thinking it originates from outside of Etna—the complexity is stunning.

Hailing from the southwestern side of Etna, IDDA is a collaborative project between the Gaja and Graci families. While most of the volcanic vineyards are planed to the dominant red grape Nerello Mascalese, IDDA has put a spotlight on Carricante for its complexity and ageability.
