Georges Lignier Bourgogne Passetoutgrain
PASSE – TOO – WHAT? It is a question we get all-too-often, and thankfully, winemaker Georges Lignier has come to the rescue with a striking example of this unique and oddly named wine (a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay). While the word might sound confusing, what’s crystal clear is the care and love that has gone into this bottle. The grapes are vinified separately offering up a medium-bodied array of tangy red-fruit, confident tannin-structure, and enough freshness to last through even the hot summer days.
