Francois Villard started out his career as a chef where he caught the wine bug and moved from chef to sommelier. Entirely self-taught, he made his first Condrieu in 1991. Today he farms organically on 64 hectares of vines of which he owns 40. Made with 100% Viognier from granite and quartz soils of the Northern Rhone Valley, this Condrieu is perfumed with aromas of pear nectar, yellow plum, white flowers, and ginger.
