Erggelet Brothers Contra Costa Carignane

Owners Julian and Sebastian Erggelet, sons to an American mother and a German father, grew up in southern Germany and moved to California. In 2015 they started making their own wines in Eastern Contra Costa. Crafted from organic old vine Carignan grapes, this little gem is as natural as it gets. With aromas of plum, cherries, and a touch of spice, it’s just what you need to accompany pan-seared duck breast with cranberry sauce or a plate of pork sausages.
