Six generations of the Parize family have grown grapes in the Côte Chalonnaise, but only in 1975 did they begin to make wine themselves, beginning with only 100 bottles per year. Their production increased 40-fold in the intervening decades, much to our benefit! Premier Cru vines in the Chalonnaise make excellent value, demonstrating a very high quality of winemaking at an entry-level Burgundy price. Robust cherry flavors with a medium body give this wine a flexibility to enjoy on its own or with many styles of cuisine.
