Dom. Lucien Jacob Savigny-Les-Beaune

The Domaine originally specialized in cassis and framboise, but with their success began expanding beyond their initial footprint in Pernand Vergelesses and Aloxe Corton. Working almost exclusively with Pinot Noir, the current proprietor (grandson of the founder) aims for wines of more structure than was typical of the Domaine. Red fruits and velvety tannins characterize this bottling, which still retains the prior style’s lift and grace.
