Dom. de Fontsainte Corbieres

Located within the “Golden Crescent” of Corbieres, so-called because of the amount of sun the area receives, Domaine de Fontsainte is known for harvesting some of the best quality grapes in the region. Cooled by Mediterranean breezes this land produces wines of exquisite character for very reasonable prices. This bottling, 60% Carignan (vines planted in the 1950s!), 30% Grenache, and 10% Syrah offers a rustic but not overly earthy expression, showcasing dark fruits and herbs. A versatile wine that would pair with many types of cuisine but perhaps best-suited for those of the Middle East.
