Ch. D'Esclans Whispering Angel Rose
Originally a lookout post for intruding sailors along the Gulf of Frejus 2,500 years ago, Chateau d’Esclans’ estate was established in the 12th century and has been the epicenter of production for gold standard rosé. Their flagship rosé Whispering Angel, an old vine Grenache blend, is pale pink with a luscious wildflower nose. The palate is fruit forward with high acidity and a long finish. The flavors of strawberry, watermelon, and peach make this a wonderful summer lunch wine.
