The April BRIX Mix—The White Lady
A longtime favorite of the BRIX Chix, the White Lady delivers a refreshing sip of spring. Originally invented by famed bartender Harry MacElhone, it was first made with crème de menthe. In 1929, MacElhone, while working at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, altered his recipe and introduced gin. Today it is the preferred ingredient. The gin, liqueur, and fresh lemon juice hit all of the right notes—marrying the bracing botanicals with sweet orange and tart citrus. The egg white brings everything together, giving the drink a frothy, silky texture. Garnish it with an edible flower and serve it at brunch, or make it the start to your next spring cocktail hour.
The BRIX Mix White Lady comes with a 750 ml bottle of Caorunn Small Batch Scottish Gin, a 750 ml bottle of Bauchant Orange Liqueur, two lemons, and the BRIX White Lady recipe.
